Organic In Nature

There is something about the encaustic process that satisfies me completely, in the way only physical experiences can. I enjoy the way the wax melts and spreads under my iron, and how the finished piece feels as I move my hands over it. I make these works for that visceral feeling, and each piece holds that intimate expression.
